A259 road closure

The A259 will have night time closures in place from 28th August 2020.
The A259 will have night time closures in place from the Roundstone-by-pass, between the junctions of the A280 and Station Road, for a distance approx 1550 metres.
The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 28th August 2020 for up to 5 days and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while West Sussex County Council undertakes carriageway patching works prior to the start of A259 Widening Scheme.
Please note that due to the Bank Holiday the road will be temporarily re-opened from 06:00 on 29 August 2020 to 23:00 on 01 September 2020. The restriction will be in place overnight only from 23:00 until 06:00.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the works.
