Officers from the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) joined Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) working together to provide a morning of education and enforcement. The activity was held at East Grinstead’s Fire Station – on Wednesday 13th of September, between 07:30-11:30am. This engagement highlights the importance of keeping at least the distance of another car (1.5m) away. This activity was aimed to increase awareness among other road users.

Read MoreOn Sunday 3rd of September Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) attended the 29th annual Ace Café, Brighton Burn Up Reunion. Independently acclaimed as the World´s Coolest Motorcycle Event, the Ace Cafe Reunion 2023, saw many visitors. SSRP was joined by partners from; Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and Sussex Police’s BikeSafe lead. The run, widely known as the Brighton Burn Up, starts at the Ace café on London’s North Circular and finishes next to the beach on Madeira Drive in Brighton; arriving to live music, stands, displays and much more.
