The Sussex Safer Roads Partnership will be attending the 10th anniversary of Piazza Italia in Horsham. Will we see you there?
This coverted Italian festival, celebrating all things red, white and green, is to be welcomed by Horsham (West Sussex) again this coming weekend, on the 25th, 26th and 28th of March. If you’re enthralled by a Ferrari, dote over Ducatis, or maybe just really like the food (we’re with you there!), then look no further than Piazza Italia for your family entertainment this Easter holiday.
Featuring supercars and motorbikes such as Maseratis, McLarens, Fiats, even the delightful Alfa Romeos, this is also the perfect place to usher in some responsible road safety messages, in order to keep us driving and keep those vehicles in excellent condition! Bringing chariots of our own, we’ll be there in force with a Sussex Police Ford Ranger, a Fire and Rescue motorbike, a police motorbike (on the Monday), with support from our partners at the police, Fire and Rescue, and local councils. In addition, our new Casualty Reduction Team will be there for you to pitch road safety questions to, if you need any advice or have concerns, and to improve road user techniques.
For further information, please take a look here.
SSRP will be in attendance on all three days of this free festival: on Friday and Monday we will be pitched near the Bandstand, and on Saturday in the Carfax.Piazza Italia has a dedicated following but we’d love to see some new faces, so if you’re wondering what to do with your bank holiday, visit Italy – without leaving Sussex!
