  • What if I am late or unable to attend?

You must arrive on time or you will not be allowed to take part in the Course. If you cannot attend due to sickness, then you must notify the Course administrator at the earliest opportunity. To book another Course you will have to pay a rebooking fee.

Under certain circumstances (named below) you may either arranged another course date free of charge or receive a full refund:

    • Receipt of a medical certificate or letter (self-certification will not be accepted)
    • Notification of hospital appointment
    • Bereavement

Appropriate written proof of these circumstances will be required.

In the event of a no-show to a Course date, your file will be returned back to Sussex Police for their consideration as the matter may now have to be reverted to a Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty.

  • Weather conditions preventing attendance?

During times of bad weather, a decision will be made based on current information and weather warnings as to whether the courses should go ahead or be cancelled.
