Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) attended the SuperCar Event, held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, between Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of July an event that raises vital fund for the Children’s Trust.
The SSRP team supported the event with informative road safety messaging and resources, as well as welcoming the public to engage with our equipment and learn more about The Partnership. We had a Safety Camera Van, Police Ranger and the Engagement Vehicle on the stand on the Friday, and a Police Motorbike and Safety Camera Van on the Saturday; as well as having interactive activities for the audience at the event, that promote hands on learning! West Sussex Fire and Rescue were also in attendance.
Every year 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness and many have to live with ongoing, long-term difficulties. The Children’s Trust gives children and young people with brain injury and neurodisability the opportunity to live the best life possible, by providing specialist rehabilitation, education and community services across the UK.

All proceeds from The Supercar Event helps to fund the work of The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.
