Sussex Safer Roads Partnership have joined the Festival of Speed event, held at the Goodwood Estate, West Sussex, from the 8th – 11th July 2021.
Sussex Safer Roads Parntership are excited to attend the event and speak with the public after a year of postponed events due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
SSRP are supported at the event by partners from Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and West Sussex County Council. In addition, the SSRP Safety Camera Team are present displaying equipment and technology used to keep the roads of Sussex Safe. Motorcyles from West Sussex Fire and Rescue and Sussex Police are on display, along with a variety of bicycles and road safety educational equipment.
A spokesperson for SSRP commented: “Many patrons at this event fall into our key priority group. This event is a fantastic opportunity for the parntership to speak with the public about key road safety issues and the Fatal Five, and work positively with an audience that may not initially be familiar with SSRP or engaged with our initiatives.”
The team are at Festival of Speed from Friday 8th – Sunday 11th July, and are welcoming anyone interested in road safety, or with road safety concerns, to visit the stand (409). The team will be on hand to advise on cycling, driving, riding and walking, and are experts in their field.
